| Hello everyone and welcome to
our little bit of sports day fun. |
|
| The GREEN
team might not have won but they had loads of laughs and loads of fun
trying. |
|
| Fun is what the day is all about and just about
everyone I saw there was smiling and giggling, those who were not giggling
laughing or smiling were shouting for their teams or helping run the event.
The school staff with assistance from some parents and older children were like a well oiled clock,
with the horn right on time
for the change of every event or was it to signal an end of round and
everyone back to their corner for a quick sip of tea? |
|
Some of the contestants looked on enviously
 |
|
| The rubber chickens have been busy laying all
the rubber eggs for the egg and spoon race but not a single chicken was seen
shouting for any of the teams.
If anyone saw a rubber chicken please let me know.
|
|
| The great traditional Olympic event of the 5
yard dash with sequential bell ringing was a resounding success for all who
attempted it in the windy conditions. Several hats were seen crossing the
field in a westerly direction followed closely by their contestants.

|
|
| All the contestants were waiting quietly for
their turn to show their skill and ability in every event

|
|
| As all good things come to an end so did our
sports day. Everyone gathered together to hear the results.

which were announced by Mrs Baillie who lead the victory lap .....

And the winners were.........everyone who smiled , giggled , laughed and
grinned.
but where were the rubber chickens?
|
|
| I do hope you all enjoyed the sports day as
much as we did and next year who knows the rubber chickens might turn up to
cheer on their rubber eggs! Andy ( Amanda's daddy )
